MOBIAK SA founded in 1977 and is the largest company in Southeast Europe and one of the fastest-growing companies in the world in the field of the Firefighting and Medical Equipment industry.

A significant investment of 1.000.000 was also made in 2006 in the sector of Gases. A modern bottling line was installed and the old buildings were completely renovated. (1000m2)

In 2020 another investment was made which is fully operational. At our main facilities – Headquarters in Crete, an Additional High-Pressure Bottling Line 300 Bar was installed for Firefighting Gases
The new production line has the ability to simultaneously fill bottles and individual bottles so that any demand can be met.
Bottling at 300 bar offers the possibility to fill the cylinders using some pressure or mass of individual gases, depending on the composition of the mixture. Filling with a reference bottle in the weighing station gives greater accuracy in the composition of the mixture.
The four-fold of the company: Quality, Variety, Competitive Rates and Immediate Delivery contributed the most to the impetuous progress and the successful course continues with the expansion of activities.
In 2018, MOBIAK purchased a new plot of 25.000m2, expanding the plant, where new buildings will be built to accommodate an additional robotic fire extinguisher assembly line and even automatic product packaging and palletizing orders. There is now the possibility of customized packaging/palletizing according to the quantities. In addition, a new 2.000m2 building is being built with a function as a distribution center – a product storage area. Also, on the same plot, a training center – event center – conference room will be created making state-of-the-art Headquarters for the company. Finally, the investment is estimated at € 7,000,000 plus land purchase cost.
With human resources of more than 140 people and with state-of-the-art machinery, MOBIAK can guarantee high quality products and services while is certified by ISO 9001: 2015 by the ABS Quality Evaluations Agency, according to ISO 14001: 2015 by TUV Rheinland, OHSAS 18001: 2007 from ΕΒΕΤΑΜ and according to ISO 13485: 2012 from Greek NQACTH.
The commitment of the company to the initial vision for overall quality of its products and services led ΜΟΒΙΑΚ to win the 1st position in SE Europe and also among the fastest-growing European companies in the sector.
Proof of this is the worldwide recognition by international certification organizations that give credit and certifications that few companies in the industry own.
MOBIAK Gas Sector is working with some of the world’s largest companies. MOBIAK supplies the raw materials in liquid form (Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen, Argon), stores them in cryogenic tanks and bottles them in high pressure bottles. It provides the possibility of supplying Liquid Oxygen with a privately owned tanker to all public hospitals and private clinics in Crete.
As far as the firefighting department is concerned, MOBIAK has implemented a large investment program of 5,500,000€ at its headquarters in Chania-Crete, which was completed in 2006 and included installation of complete robotic assembly line for fire extinguishers and the construction of a new 2500m2 building for new offices and warehouse expansion for raw materials and ready to use products (800m2).
The capability of the new fire extinguisher production line exceeds 200 units/hour. The high-sensitivity helium sensor detects a possible leakage of propellant gas for each produced or re-tested fire extinguisher. MOBIAK now trades and produces over 1,000 different products.
Important conquests are done in acquiring additional highly demanding and necessary certifications for various fire extinguisher models, such as SRPS (Serbia), NCP (Netherlands), TSE (Turkey), and BENOR (Belgium). The continuous development and growth of MOBIAK combines with the continuous improvement of its products and services.
In addition, the company is certified by the Hellenic Register of Shipping, RINA, Bureau Veritas, ABS and the Russian Shipbuilding Company for the inspection of firefighting equipment, respirators and safety systems on ships. With the above certificates, MOBIAK has developed cooperation with shipping companies for the annual inspection of their fleets.
By acquiring active participation in vital production areas, MOBIAK has managed not only to have an Active Network of Affiliates in Greece that exceeds 800 wholesalers but also to export worldwide with an International Sales Network in more than 70 countries.
As regards the field of medical equipment, the company started in 1997 with the production of medical oxygen, covering not only the needs of hospitals but also the needs of oxygen therapy at home. The production of medical oxygen has set strong fundamentals in the company for the development of commercial and technical department with the latest technology breathing devices for oxygen therapy, sleep apnea.
In the following years, the catalog has been enriched with a larger range of items Home/ healthcare appropriate for a wide range of applications, such as orthopedic items, medical equipment, diagnostic and treatment devices, applications specific to spine aids/ holders for upper/lower edges and head, medical supplies and hospital equipment.
This rich experience has been used for the organization of a new department Research and Development as regards the research of new products and the special needs of air collaborators.
